Shepherd huts in Swansea: your questions
Do you deliver shepherd huts to Swansea?
Yes. We deliver across Swansea. Each hut is built on a towable chassis, so we take it direct to your site and help get it levelled and into position.
How much does a shepherd hut cost in Swansea?
Our bespoke shepherd huts start from £1,417 per square metre, for example £8,500 for a 3m x 2m hut and £11,336 for a 4m x 2m hut. Delivery to Swansea is quoted individually, depending on distance and access to your site.
Do I need planning permission for a shepherd hut in Swansea?
It depends on how the hut will be used and where it will sit, so check with City and County of Swansea Council before you order. Many people use a shepherd hut as a garden office or guest room, while holiday lets and sites in a national park or conservation area may need permission. We are happy to talk it through with you.
Can I use a shepherd hut as a holiday let in Swansea?
Many customers do. We can fit a kitchen, a shower room with WC, a wood burner and a double bed. Speak to City and County of Swansea Council about planning and business rates before you start, and we will help you design a hut that suits letting.
