Shepherd huts in the Midlands: your questions
Do you deliver shepherd huts to the Midlands?
Yes. the Midlands is a longer journey from our West Wales workshop, but every hut is built to be towed, so we deliver direct to your site and help get it levelled and into position.
How much does a shepherd hut cost in the Midlands?
Our bespoke shepherd huts start from £1,417 per square metre, for example £8,500 for a 3m x 2m hut and £11,336 for a 4m x 2m hut. Delivery to the Midlands is quoted individually, depending on distance and access to your site.
Do I need planning permission for a shepherd hut in the Midlands?
It depends on how the hut will be used and where it will sit, so check with your local planning authority before you order. Many people use a shepherd hut as a garden office or guest room, while holiday lets and sites in a national park or conservation area may need permission. We are happy to talk it through with you.
Can I use a shepherd hut as a holiday let in the Midlands?
Many customers do. We can fit a kitchen, a shower room with WC, a wood burner and a double bed. Speak to your local planning authority about planning and business rates before you start, and we will help you design a hut that suits letting.
